Cake of the week: lemon poppyseed 

This week’s cake is a lemon and poppyseed cake: quick, simple and yummy! 

180 g flour, 3 eggs, 150 g sugar, 150 g butter, juice of one lemon, peel of one lemon, 1 tablespoon poppyseeds, 1 teaspoon baking powder, a pinch of salt.

Preheat oven on 180 degrees. Melt the butter in the microwave. Wash lemon and grate peel. Juice it. Prepare the cake pan. Mix the eggs and the sugar. When white and foamy, add the flour, poppyseeds, salt, baking powder, lemon peel and juice. Mix. Add the melted butter. Cast the batter in the pan and put in the oven for 40 minutes.
