Spring’s a-coming, at least in Europe, and so I wasn’t surprised at all when my mum asked me for a green Liberty-apple. Usually, I prefer pastel colours, so this request was a bit of a challenge to me, and, as you will notice, I couldn’t resist to smuggle in a pastel green pear… In the end, it was real fun to look for some bright and colourful Liberty fabrics to match the green fruits!
A bit of Betsy, a bit of Mitsi Valeria and co, the result is fresh and colourful! As usual, I used DMC Natura yarn and a crochet hook size 2.5. I used different shades of green, then chose a fabric for the leaf and finally added a stem with a contrasting colour, being careful to choose a shade also to be found in the fabric.
And since today is a public holiday here in Mauritius, I think I’ll make some cake. The last picture just seduced me… ❤️
